1. Sourcing: The "Food-First" Policy
We never kill for fashion. Every hide we use is a byproduct of the food industry. If we didn't use it, it would go to a landfill. We exclusively select Full-Grain Hides—the top layer of the skin that contains the strongest fibers. We reject "Corrected Grain" (sanded) leather because once you sand off the grain, you remove the durability.
2. Hardware: The Metallurgy of Trust
A jacket is only as strong as its weakest link. Usually, that is the zipper. We refuse to use cheap zinc alloy sliders that snap. We exclusively use YKK® Excella and Heavy-Duty Brass hardware. These are plated to resist corrosion and engineered to self-lubricate with use, ensuring they glide smoother the longer you own them.
3. The "Anti-Greenwashing" Stance

- The Patterning: We draft patterns based on human anatomy, not flat mannequins. We account for "movement ease" so you can reach for a handlebar without the jacket riding up your back.
- The Stitch: We use high-tensile nylon thread (Bonded 69), double-stitched at stress points (armpits and pockets) to prevent seam failure.
