Zellberry engineers this collection using “Double-Faced” pelts. We do not glue wool to leather. We use the single, continuous hide with the wool facing inward for maximum loft and the leather facing outward as a wind-proof shield.

1. The Velvet Touch (Merino Shearling)

Used in our shearling jacket womens standard collection. Merino sheepskin is famous for its extreme density and softness. It is shaved to a uniform length, creating a plush, velvet-like interior that offers the highest warmth-to-weight ratio. It is sleek enough to wear while driving.

2. The Glamour Trim (Toscana Sheepskin)

For maximum drama, we use Toscana. This breed has long, straight hair rather than curly wool. We use it on the collars and cuffs of our long shearling coat editions to create a framing effect around the face. It moves like fur but carries the ethical sustainability of being a food-industry byproduct.

• Real Sheepskin Coat: The investment piece. It will last 20+ years. It is biodegradable and breathable.
• Faux Shearling Jacket: For the vegan buyer. We use high-grade “Sherpa” fleece that mimics the thermal pockets of wool. It is lighter and machine washable, offering the aviator jacket womens aesthetic without the animal product.
