The four-pocket layout provides significant utility, allowing you to carry essentials without bulging your pants pockets, while the high collar offers superior wind protection compared to standard lapels.
1. The “Field Jacket” Architecture
We borrowed the **Quad-Pocket Layout** from vintage military field jackets. The chest and waist pockets feature **Button-Flap Closures** with antique brass hardware. This ensures your gear stays dry and secure. It offers a more structured, tactical look than our streamlined Men’s Cafe Racer Jackets.
2. Distressed Emerald Dye
Green leather is difficult to execute. We use a **Multi-Tone Dyeing Process**. The base is a bright emerald, which we overlay with darker tones at the edges and seams. This “distressing” creates a vintage patina instantly, preventing the jacket from looking like plastic. It pairs unexpectedly well with dark indigo denim or black chinos.
3. The Storm Placket
We installed a **Full-Length Storm Flap** over the central zipper. Secured by snaps, this flap prevents wind from penetrating the zipper teeth—a common failure point in cheaper jackets. The high funnel neck can be strapped shut to seal the gap between your helmet and the jacket collar.

- The “Boxy” Fit: The field jacket cut is straighter than a typical biker jacket. If you prefer a tight V-taper, you may need to have the waist tailored locally or size down.
- Pocket Volume: The patch pockets sit on the chest and hips. If you have a broad chest, check the measurements in our Size Guide to ensure the pockets don’t flare open.

We constructed the chassis from Distressed Cowhide dyed in a vivid Kelly Green. We finished the leather with a “rub-off” technique that darkens the seams, giving the bright color a rugged, lived-in depth rather than a flat, costume-like appearance.
