This Men’s Blue Wool Greatcoat is not a costume prop. While fast fashion coats use thin, flimsy felt that pills after one season, Zellberry builds the Aaron Diplomat to the standard of a naval officer’s bridge coat. We use a dense Wool Structure that creates a heavy, authoritative drape.
1. The “Double-Breasted” Seal
Structure is everything. We engineered this coat with a wide Double-Breasted Overlap. This doubles the fabric thickness over your chest, creating a thermal shield against wind. The Peak Lapels are reinforced with interfacing to ensure they stand sharp and never roll or flop.
2. The “Suit-Over” Cut
A greatcoat must fit over layers. We cut the armholes with a specific “Ease Allowance” to accommodate a suit jacket or blazer underneath without bunching at the armpits. It provides a clean, vertical line from shoulder to hem.
3. Utility & Motion
We included a deep Single Rear Vent. This allows for full leg movement when walking or sitting, preventing the coat from pulling open at the hips. The oversized welt pockets are positioned to keep your hands warm while maintaining a formal posture.
