The Engineering Behind The RAF B6 Aviator

This Men’s Rust Shearling Bomber is the heavyweight champion of our winter lineup. Unlike standard flight jackets that are uniform in color, the RAF B6 utilizes **High-Contrast Architecture**. The seams are overlaid with black leather taping, which not only strengthens the construction but creates a bold graphic definition against the rust-brown hide.

1. Thermal Shearling Core

There is no synthetic filler here. We use **Real Sheepskin Hide** where the wool is still attached to the leather. This creates a natural thermal air pocket that traps body heat instantly. The **Oversized Shearling Collar** can be strapped up using the **Double Buckle Throat Latch** to completely seal your neck against blizzards.

2. Tactical Reinforcements

3. The “Bomber” Cut

We retained the authentic boxy cut of WWII flight gear. This jacket is designed to be roomy in the chest and shoulders to allow for movement in a cockpit (or a car). The waist features adjustable buckles to cinch the hem tight and keep drafts out.

This is a Handcrafted Jacket. We cut this pattern for you. To ensure the perfect fit:

• The “Wool Thickness” Rule: The interior wool is thick (approx. 15mm). This eats up internal space. If you are between sizes, you MUST size up. Do not order a tight fit for shearling.
• Standard Fit: If you plan to wear just a t-shirt underneath, order your True Size found on our chart.
