The Brandon Tan Brown Leather Vest solves the problem of “in-between” weather. When it’s too warm for a full jacket but too cold for just a shirt, this vest provides the necessary thermal regulation for your core. We utilized a lightweight leather gauge to ensure it layers smoothly without adding bulk.
1. Panel-Constructed Fit
Most leather vests hang loose and look boxy. We engineered this vest with Horizontal Chest Panels. This stitching technique reinforces the leather, keeping the chest area flat and structured against your body. It creates a masculine “V” silhouette rather than a straight tube shape.
2. The Layering Logic
We cut the armholes slightly deeper than average. This “mobility gap” prevents the vest from digging into your armpits when you wear it over a thick sweater or one of our Men’s Hoodies. The silver zipper is industrial-grade, providing a stark mechanical contrast to the warm tan leather.
3. Aniline Color Depth
The vibrant tan color comes from an Aniline Dye Process. Unlike cheaper pigment-coated leathers that crack over time, aniline dye penetrates the hide fibers. This means the color will not peel, and the leather will develop a unique vintage character (patina) as you wear it.

This is a Handcrafted Garment. We cut this pattern for you. To ensure the perfect fit:
- The “Chest Gap”: A vest must fit closer than a jacket. Measure your chest circumference accurately. Do not add extra inches for “room” unless you plan to wear very heavy layers.
- Torso Length: This vest is cut to sit at the belt line. If you are taller than 6’1″, please check the length specifications in our Size Guide.
Maintenance Tip: Keep away from direct heat sources. Condition twice a year to maintain the tan color vibrancy. Read our Leather Grades Guide.
All our products are shipped via DHL, FedEx, USPS, or UPS. The courier is chosen based on the fastest shipping route. Once the order is shipped, a shipment confirmation email will be sent to our customers with a tracking code for them to track it. We do require that the customer should provide us with the correct shipping address and their contact information.
